Happy Dance

I just noticed that I forgot to post last Friday after my weigh in. I lost 2.8 last week and 3 lbs this week for a total of 19.4. I think it is great that it only took me 9 weeks to lose that much. I am happy with 2 or 3 lbs a week. I did have that big gain 3 weeks ago but I am back on track and feeling wonderful. I have my pedometer on every day and have been trying to walk more steps each day. Today is pretty nice out so I took my book and went for a walk and then sat in the park and got to read a few chapters.

There really hasn't been much going on with me. I have been writing done what I want to put in my garden this year. We took out the strawberry patch so I know I want to try something new this year. I don't think I am going to plant anything on the side of the house like we did last year because it doesn't get enough sun. I did put tons of green onions and those came out OK but I only got 2 big zucchini out of the plants I put on the side.

My weight watcher leader last week asked us to try a few different foods so I decided to try making baked sweet potato fries. They were delicious. I never had sweet potatoes so that was a treat. I also tried couscous but I had to spice it up with tabasco sauce and some fresh parmesan cheese. I did like it but will have to find some recipes to add things to it to make it more enjoyable.

Well, I guess I will get off of here and go watch another disc of season 1 of Nip/Tuck that my sister sent to me.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I love sweet potatoes and use them instead of potatoes often, the baked spiced fries are great. I haven't had couscous for awhile but I have a good recipe for it here somewhere. If I can find it I will send it. Congratulations on the weight loss. I am back on my plan again. Hope to be as successful.

Well done on that weight loss, great job. You can get quite pretty plants to grow in very shady places.

great job on the almost 20 lbs lost. That was about my rate at the get go. I was grateful too...I expected 'it' to take much longer.

That is great about your weight loss. I have heard weight watcher has a good new plan. I use to go many years ago. I need to go back.
Gardening is such fun, and good exercise. And nothing taste better than fresh veggies out of the garden.
