I just wanted to do a quick entry since I haven't been on for about a week. I have lost 4 lbs so far. I slipped a few times with some candy and I don't want to get back on the scale until day 14 because if I show a gain I don't want to get upset. I seen my neurosurgeon and he said I can start an exercise program if I feel up to it. He also said that when they sent my tumor over to another hospital for a second opinion they found that it contain 2 different kinds. My doctor said that was a first for him. It was benign so I have nothing to worry about. I told him I knew I was different. LOL I watched the Titans game today and got so upset that they lost. I cheer for the Tennessee Titans since my sister lives there. I guess there is always next year but that is for my Chicago Bears.
We have been hit with some major snow the last few days. I think the total so far is about 8 inches. I know when I watched the news this morning they were talking about more snow the next few days. I hope not.
It is time for me to go relax. I am going to get up early and start making my meals for the week. I want to make some pancakes with blueberries. I also have been eating a lot of different beans and just adding vegetables and brown rice.
Have a great Sunday everyone. I hope to update more frequently.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Getting that exercise going is going to be a big thing. Lately I just ask myself, am I not worth 30 minutes to myself? Sure I am, not I just have to get my mind around what I want to take place in that 30 minutes, but as Roni said, Just start!
You're doing great with your diet! I'm so happy that the tumor was benign....but it contained 2 different kinds. Hmmmmm That is weird! I'm just happy everything is okay!
The meals sound great. I have a turkey breast with low fat cream of mushroom soup in the slow cooker. One calorie at a time, right. Glad your OK to exercise.
Way to go on the weight loss and hearing the great news on your tumors being benign. Remember in every weight loss program or diet that everyone has up and down weight periods even if you watched everything you ate and exercised, so don't let this upset you, you'll see the weight loss the next time you check your weight. Hang in there.
OMG those sugar-free puddings are to DIE for... you really must try them! i don't have a huge sweet-tooth but they'll come in handy when i need something low-calorie...

Well done on the 4lb weight loss. I have just started exercising more myself and hope it will help. Glad to hear the good news about the tumours.

What great news. Whew I was worrying a little for ya.
Glad the doctor released you for exercise. That surely will help if you have another slip with candy.

you go girl, you can do it..
Good news from the tumor department. Since I am hopelessly addicted to chocolate, I don't think I'd be able to maintain a sensible diet. Good for you!
