Things Are Looking Up

I lost 1.4 lbs this week for a total of 31.6 I am so happy about that. I have been walking a lot this week. I have been averaging about 14,000 steps a day. I probably won't get to that today because I just put my pj's back on and I am going to take it easy. You just have to do that sometimes. It is rainy here and I am just in the mood to relax and maybe do some reading.

My daughter and I are going to get our hair dyed, cut and styled. I did have the appointment for next Saturday but changed it because I don't want to be rushed for my big 50th birthday party next week. It is a 45 minute drive to the hairstylist and then back home and then about 45 minute drive to my party next week. We do have my great nephew's 4th birthday party tomorrow and I know I will be home in plenty of time to get ready. The next 3 weekends are going to be so busy. My sister in law is having us all over for Mother's Day on the 8th. I am happy about that because I have plans with hubby & my daughter on Mother's Day to go to the nursery and get all of our vegetable plants and maybe get something to eat. I just want to keep it simple. I love those kinds of days.

I made my sister in laws poster for our 50th birthday party next Saturday. I am not sure if I mentioned it but we are having it together. My daughter hasn't even started working on my poster yet. I just may have to do it myself. I bought my sister in law this box of candy I ordered on line called Old Time Candy. It is candy we ate in the 60's. I just love it. I can't wait until she see it.

I just remembered I have a new great nephew and his name is Jack Henry. I am going to meet him tomorrow. I am so excited. I love babies.

Well, I want to wish everyone a very nice weekend.

Hey Dutch,

Great job on the weight loss!! I also love the idea of going to the nursery with the family for mother's day. My son works there so I can even get a discount!! Great idea. Sounds like you have a lot of fun times coming up. Good for you!!
