The last few days I have been miserable. I feel like the last few posts all I have been doing is complaining but I am trying to get my health back.
I almost had my hubby take me to the hospital yesterday morning. My right side of my face and my throat really hurt bad. It takes a lot of pain before I even want to step into an emergency room. It told him to go to work and that I would take some vicodin and see if that helped. It did. I called the doctor this morning to try and get in to see him. They couldn't fit me in so I described my symptoms and she wanted my pharmacy name and she would call me back. I think I have a bad sinus infection but I am worried because my surgery was through my nose. The nurse called me back and said the doctor prescribed Augmentin. She said the doctor would see me in 3 weeks. I couldn't believe it. I said I am in pain so she made it for 2 weeks. What about this week? Doctors. I thought about calling my general practioner but I will see if my prescription works. Ok sorry enough of my whining.
I can't believe how many journals I have been reading where your weather is just as bad as ours. I mean I live in Illinois so I know we are going to have cold and snow. I woke up this morning to more snow. When is it going to end. LOL
My daughter finally goes back to school tomorrow. She has been off since Wednesday because of the wind chill and today is a holiday. She is suppose to be cleaning the whole upstairs today but her 2 friends came over without calling so I made them a pizza and they are watching a movie and I told her after the movie they are to leave so you can do your chores. She was like I promise Mom. We will see.
I made a blueberry smoothie for breakfast yesterday. It was pretty good. I have about 5 different recipes so I think I will try them all until I find the one I really love. I have been trying to eat different foods so I don't get bored with the same old healthy foods. For lunch I had a large spinach and vegetable salad and 1/2 of a pita with chicken salad on it. I froze the pitas and I couldn't open them or they would fall apart. I know better now not to freeze them that way.
Well, I am getting tired and I feel it is time to take a nap before hubby comes home from work. He gets home around 2:30 and I generally take a 30 to 45 minute nap. Have a great day everyone and hopefully my next post will be a positive one where I am feeling better and exercising. We can only hope. LOL
