I just seen my first snow flurries. It didn't last long but I still can't believe it. We are suppose to have a few more tomorrow. It is going to get down to 27 degrees tonight. I am putting extra blankets on the beds.

I was in the garden today picking the rest of the bell peppers and tomatoes. I got about 10 peppers and about 100 tomatoes. The tomatoes are still green and I am hoping they will ripen.

I made chicken breast in the slow cooker today with honey mustard dressing on top. It turned out delicious. My hubby had the leftover mash potatoes and beef with gravy and mushrooms.

Well, I think it is time for me to get my pj's on and relax with a good book.
I went to the library Friday and got 2 Barbara Taylor Bradford books and I need to start them since they are so big.

Hey, Dutch! Sounds like a pretty much perfect day to me. I see you're in IL; I'm in IN. We haven't seen snow yet that i know of. How'd you choose the name Dutch? Is it related to Ronald Reagan?

Wow! snow flurries. And we still have sunny nice weather here in Oregon. They are forcasting rain by the weekend. Then things will turn into the typical fall here. Enjoy your warm bed and your book.

mmmm...FRIED GREEN MATERS!!!
It has dipped in the thirties here.....from the 70's to the 30's
It feels great and I love the fact that with the holidays here, we can actually dress for the seasons and not be in freakin shorts. lol, life in the deep South.

good to get those veggies in before it's too late.
i love fried green tomatoes!!! but for the ones you want to ripen put them in a sunny window if you have one, or put them in a paper bag & set them on the counter for a few days.
your dinner sounded yummy.
